or we have all fired everyone we can except ourselves and the last bit of help we have- ops sorry..self employed..I pay several percent more in taxes and am not included in that damn statistic! or anything else for that matter..just here to pay fees to create useless jobs to collect fees…
It dosent generally matter what gold is at- over time it has always bought the same amount of goods. 1 Coin is always 1 months rent lol 35$ in 1920 or $850 2008 the same coin.

What’s worse is that some of the jobs being “created” aren’t real jobs but merely statistical “probabilities” based upon the “birth/death model”. Frankly, one can’t believe any published figures anymore.
But I do have a question. What would you recommend to the “average Joe” as a course of action (speaking fiscally) for the next year or so? I’m sure “save your money” will be part of the answer… but where? Banks? Funds? Metals? Under the mattress?

There is always the green zero which guarantees that the casino wins. The zeros win, same in reality the zero suit’s win all the time while we red and blacks loose.
You have to remember they are kicking about 200k people off the unemployment rolls every month now. So, they are making the numbers look better, but in reality they are taking the last bit of income a lot of people have.

The government either created artificial jobs with its bogus birth/death model accounting or more people dropped from the total pool of unemployed (meaning they gave up trying to find a job). Probably a little of both. You see, they have a few tricks at their disposal.

ding ding ding ding ding! Glad someone knows the truth. They stop counting people in the unemployment number whose unemployment benefits have run out. This means approx half a million people will be coming off of unemployment a month here soon b/c it was this time last year when we were losing so many jobs.
unemployement number means nothing! it dropped due to the benefits running out, it will drop even more in jan 2010 because of dec09 dead line.
